Worship Arts

"We exist to lead all peoples to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ."

Here at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, it is our desire to draw people into the presence of God through worship in a way that is vibrant, personal, biblical, and "real". Because at Trinity "We exist to lead all peoples to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ , we come together as God's people to celebrate Jesus and to "...worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24).

Through our Worship Arts Ministry, we provide many opportunities to be a part of that vision.

Ministry Opportunities

Music Time (4 and 5 year olds) - This older preschool group meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. They learn basic music skills (including rhythm and matching pitch) and biblical principles through music. They sing occasionally during our Sunday evening services.

Children's Choir (grades 1-5) - Rehearsal for Children's Choir is on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. They learn basic music skills, musical terms, and vocal technique. They often sing for the Associational Vacation Bible School Clinic, our own VBS Family Night, special emphasis services, and many Sunday evening services. This choir encompasses both campuses.

Adult Worship Choir (18 and up) - Our worship choir leads in the 10:45 am worship service at the Trekell Campus. Rehearsal for this group is *Wednesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm. They lead in programs for Christmas, Easter, and other special emphasis services. There is no audition required for this group.

Praise Team - This is an audition group that stems from participation in the worshp choir as needed. They rehearse on Sundays at 5:00 pm and Wednesdays at 8:30 pm. They lead in worship at the 8:00 am worship service and the 6:00 pm service.

Praise Bands - These audition groups lead in worship. The ensemble rehearses with the Praise Team on Wednesdays and Sundays. These groups consist of high school and up.

Drama - Our drama program performs periodic sketches for worship services and also leads out in dinner theaters.
